MPOX Clade 1d confirmed UK
1st case of the clade 1b Mpox virus has been detected in the UK.
The patient had recently travelled to African countries experiencing the spread of the virus, according to the UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA).
This is the 3rd case reported in Europe following Sweden, and Germany.
